A Nice Little Outing

Oahu

Nathan went last weekend to Oahu for a seminar. He stayed most the day so he went up to the North Shore and took these amazing pictures.

Yesterday, Dallas and I went to Honolulu for the day because she had a doctor's appointment. We had fun hanging out together but a day trip to Oahu was a little much for us. Honolulu reminds me of downtown Los Angeles! Next time we go we need to head up to the north shore. We went to the shops at Ala Moana but mostly we watched the fish and listened to an orchestra.

The doctor said Dallas's eyes are almost equal in both, so very minimal patching wearing from now on. Yay.

Nathan--the Artist

Nathan took these pictures from his Mom's garden and he blew them up, printed them and mounted them!! We put them up in our living room. I just love it that he made these!

We have always had a gate at the top of the stairs but this little one learned how to crawl up the stairs!! Now I guess we need a gate for the bottom. Sadie was pretty excited to get to the top. I was right there watching to see if she could really do it.

Things Brenna loves lately: dogs and horses(she tells me that everyday), Dora, and doing homework like Dallas. She also learned officially how to ride her tricycle. Better late than never. She is one happy girl now that she can keep up with Dallas.

I love this picture of Dallas. She picked out these knee high socks to wear today. She wears tennis shoes ever Wednesday b/c it is P.E. day. And she likes long socks so the grass doesn't itch her legs:).

Beach Day

We went to the beach and Nathan had the day off! It was fun to get out of Kona for a bit and hang out with some friends. It is always clear and pretty about 15 miles north.

Nathan caught this crab after it crawled over a ladies foot!

Then the nice lady was explaining to the girls that the crab wasn't scary.

Sadie cut her 1ST TOOTH!! It came in from the top. See if you can spot it.

She loved crawling in the sand and of course had to try it a few times to see what it tasted like.

Brenna loved making sand castles and jumping over waves.

Dallas got a fever today so she will be staying home from school tomorrow. Poor thing she fell asleep the second we got in the car. But she had a blast snorkeling with Nathan and floating on a tube.

A NEW NIECE!

I have a new niece as of yesterday morning!! Yay. So so missing the McCoys right now. And wished I could have been there. Baby Paisley Jo weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces. I can't wait to see pictures!!
