Last Sunday

I am not a fan of goodbyes! They are never fun. Today was our last day in our ward that we moved into a year ago. We will miss it.

It's moving week and yesterday Gammie and Abby came to be the girls cheerleaders.

Layla got super dirty out at our new muddy back yard.

Briar Patch

This was the Saturday job that the guys of Nathan's family worked on. It was a huge job and they are still tired from it. He owes a lot of dental work / pay back to them for this. That hill is completely smooth dirt now. Way to go guys!

Layla & Baby Wade

Layla was completely in heaven when around baby Wade. She loves babies right now! It's so cute! She wants to hold, touch, and play with any baby she sees.

I found this pattern to the booties I learned to make from Sister Spencer when I was in high school.

Soccer

It was opening game on Saturday. Hope they learn a lot this year and have fun! Dallas loves to play goalie. They put her in for the second half. Brenna loves when her team scored! Sadie needs something to do of her own. She is sick of watching her sisters do music and soccer. Any ideas? Layla only ran onto the field once. Nathan worked on the "new" house's yard all day Saturday with his bro, cousin, and dad. Nice Of them especially because his brother had a hard time breathing today from inhaling all the wood chip dust. so sad. What are you supposed to do for that?

Worms

Mom! You have worms! She said she learned that from Nana. She calls hers worms. Grandpa Dalton has worms too!

John Richard Evans

Here are the pictures from our Uncle Richards's funeral. I am not good with words so check Brooke's blog for the feeling of it. I felt the exact same. Love my whole family lots more after that. Made me want to be more giving and loving to others. Grateful to be part of an amazing family with an amazing heritage. I have some really great memories of him. He and Jan let me live at their house the summer before I got married. I have great memories visiting his furniture store and restaurant. It was a highlight of our visits growing up. He always made us laugh. Almost all my furniture has been from his store. He came to my wedding, and Dallas's baby blessing. There is lots more so i am just adding as i remember. Love and prayers go out to my cousins and there kids and my aunts and Dad.

Baby Wade & labor day night swimming

We love our new baby nephew/cousin baby Wade! Layla, Sadie especially are enthralled. Ali is such a great Mom and we are lucky they have been down here rather than in Idaho.

Labor Day was fun with friends during the day and night swimming at Aunt Margaret's. Sadie is brave now and will slide down there huge slide no problems. Even without a noodle!

Monkey bar blues

D got this nasty blister on the monkey bars today. I tried waterproof band aids and tecaderms (sp?) and nothing would stay on.

I also added a picture of Sadie because we were coming home at night and she was begging me to turn on the light saying: Mom! Turn on the light! I can't read my Book of Mormon.

So funny because she can't read. So adorable.
