Dear's Office

The girls and I made 3 trips out to Dear's office last week (They call Nathan's Dad Dear). We are storing a bunch of our stuff out there. It's a little over an hour away so they were in the car a lot last week. But they had fun seeing Gpa, his honeybees, his huge tractor, eating fresh asparagus from his vegetable garden, feeding chickens, petting the snake, and coloring at his desk. Definitely worth the drive.

Dallas and Brenna loved getting blown away by 75 mph winds at the Science center today.

SADIE'S 4 MONTHS

Sadie got her bangs cut for the first time today. Don't look too closely though. This sweetie is so fun. Normally I don't post pictures of myself with no makeup but I don't have many with me and Sadie.

2 Year Old's are Funny

Tonight I was giving Sadie a bath and Brenna came in and I look over and I see Brenna washing her panties in the same water I am giving Sadie a bath in! What? I guess she must have wet them (it is still potty training in progress) and thought they needed to be washed. So funny. And I get Sadie out and am dressing her and I had let Brenna just get in the bath. So I am rocking Sadie to sleep and out walks Brenna with her wet washed panties on doing a silly dance. And so I go to help her get them off and then to find she is wearing 2 wet washed panties on top of each other. Strange little one:).

Dallas's Art Display

Dallas officially stopped taking naps, at least for the majority of the time. And it has been fun having time with just the two of us for a bit. This is what she did one day this past week. Notice I have no more tape:).

Happy Birthday Nathan!!

Nate turned 29 today. Whoo hoo! We attempted to hike the Hollywood Sign--didn't get too far with the girls but still pretty and they had fun seeing all the horses and dogs on the trails. Nathan had fun testing his panorama skills with his camera. And then we went to one of his favorite restaurants--Maggiano's where he gets Gnocchi's every time. (potato pasta that he used to eat on his mission).

Long Beach

We thought it was going to be chilly, but it turned out so hot.  Poor girls were sweating in their boots! But it was so pretty and nice to spend time together. We even went out for lunch which we never do and is one of our favorite things to do. The girls liked most picking flowers on the grass and rolling down the hill. I love when we go places with Nathan because he always takes great pictures!
