Last Friday, Nathan had his birthday!! We went with him snorkeling in the morning--really only he and Dallas actually snorkeled that day. Then we came home, ate some lunch and pie, and he took off with some friends to the summit of Mauna Kea for sunset, then down to the visitor's center there to see a stargazing tour. The summit is at over 14,000 feet so no one under 16 is supposed to go there due to the lack of oxygen. What is neat is that you can drive all the way to the top! No hiking needed:). They have hot chocolate for you at the top because it was freezing. And he didn't have gloves or a hat! But had a great time. He got lots of pictures--and was so busy taking them that he missed seeing the nudest colony up there! I guess they were on vacation from a nudest colony but wanted to bear all at the top of Mauna Kea!
Anyways, I love these picts of him.

Nathan acted like 30 was so old. I forget how young ya'll are because ya'll are parents. I'm like Brooke is only 31, you are 29. Seems so young to me compared to how much family you have.
