Today is my Mom's birthday! And what is she doing? Skiing at Alta! That says a lot about her. She is an amazing skiier (ex-instructor), golfer, tennis player, water skiier, bowler, teacher. She can cook, crouchet, knit, sew. She is the best nursing instructor, friend, Mom, & Nana. She is adventurous, fun, happy, & uplifting. I have been so lucky to have a Mom like her. Miss you & Love you Tons. Happy Bday!!

Little D & B.
Here is Dallas posing for me in her cute V-day outfit...She has been telling me she loves me all week since we have been doing Valentines. What a sweetie. My OTHER little sweetie, however (Brenna) has been quite fussy and if she gets anywhere near Dallas, she is giving her a good slap or scratch. Fun fun. But just as I was about to expose her to her own baby book about being a naughty little sister, I took her into the Dr.'s this morning to find out that ~ her ear infection came back. Can't blame her too much for being crabby if she has an infection, right? Love them both.
As well as their sweet Dad, who scored in my book for Valentines with suprise Take-Out from Maggiano's and an unexpected gift from one of my fav stores. Thanks Babe!

More Road Trip Picts
Brenna always wanted to drive and Nate decided it was time for a break:).
The cliffs were amazing up there, so pretty. But almost an hour and a half outside of Monterey, the 1 Freeway got pretty curvy. It started raining and it was dark by then. The road is right next to the cliffs and I think I discovered that I have a phobia of heights.
Anyways, this little freeway got Brenna soo carsick. Poor girl, everything came up. I guess we will need some dramamine--Dad.

Seal Beach
So we stopped near Big Sur on the way to Monterey to watch hundreds of seals on the beach. It was pretty chilly but the seals were so fun to watch--so big and there were also tons of babies. More picts to come from our trip up. We went with Nathan's family. Pictured is my Sis-in-law Paula and my niece Abby. Dallas loved hanging out with them. .

Who Loves Packages!
I think one of Dallas's most favorite things is to look out the front door and see that she has a package! And who is it from? Her Nana and Grandpa in Alabama. They are the King and Queen of packages and this rainy week, we have loved getting them. That package right there has 100 balls in it! The girls had a blast playing with them in the bathtum (no water). So fun!

Sound Asleep

After almost a month of the girls giving me the run around for naps, they are finally sleeping! Dallas now loves to sleep in my bed for naps and after finally going to the doctor (and discovering that Brenna had an ear infection), I think the antibiotics are working and she is finally able to sleep. She fell asleep on my lap right after I put her in her jammies tonight, poor thing.
