We are warm inside Grandpas house after a long snowy drive from Ca! We almost didn't make it up to his house bc our van was swerving in the snow. ha ha. We r thinking it would have been smart to drive Nathan's 4 wheel drive. There is a ton of powder in his yard and the girls like jumping in it! Today we played a bunch of UNO and old maid after playing in the snow. It's so fun to be here. Kathy, Pam and Ben came by today!

Christmas cookies

It was so fun to make Christmas cookies with aunt Bobbie! She was do sweet to come make them and show me how to use a cookie gun. Thank you!!

Dallas's Baptism

I think I felt pure joy at Dallas's baptism. I was so happy for her and proud of her. I rejoiced in her growing testimony and faith. She said, " I am so glad I did that!" She was the most happy I have ever seen her. She looked beautiful and poised.  I was grateful for Nathan. I am grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and the atonement, that will allow us to be resurrected with our loved ones someday. I am grateful for the opportunity we all have to be baptized into the Lord's church! 

I appreciated everyone who came to the baptism. We had a great turnout.  The kids sang, "When I am Baptized" and Grandpa got called up to give his testimony which was really special.

The girls had the whole week off school. We started off Friday with Dallas's birthday party. Nathan just had to work till Wednesday which was nice. We had yummy thanksgiving at Matt and Kim's and then saw Grandpa Pfister that night. We had Abby and Adam half of the week. And we have been fighting bug after bug! Layla got put on steroids tonight and antibiotics because she has had a high fever and wheezes the last few days. Such a sad girl. Dallas had a terrible sore throat and swollen tonsils but thankfully is on the mend. we decorated for Christmas. One week and nana and grandpa come. Hooray! Then another week and Dallas's baptism! So excited.

Thanksgiving!!

Brenna had a thanksgiving feast at school. Thankfully her grandma could go because I was sick in bed and had to miss it. The girls also had their last soccer game Saturday! They both won their games. They had a great season and had fun!

Dallas thinks its great to be 8 and we are so happy for her! She loves loves her birthday and is having a little friends/cousins party for the older girls tonight. She is thrilled. December 8th is her baptism and she can't wait. She has been looking forward to that for awhile. I can't believe she is finally 8. Woo hoo!

Happy Birthday to Sadie!!!

She had a great day. She is so thrilled to be four. Dallas started the day doing fancy hair on Sadie- such a good big sister. We ate pancakes for breakfast with Courtney's syrup. I tried to get the big girls to do homework before we set off for Disneyland. Our passes expire next week so this was the last time we could go. They had fun but we were all tired out by 2pm and headed home where she opened more presents from Nana and Grandpa, painted, ate pizza and had a birthday bubble bath. I let her say the prayers today, choose meals and rides and books to read. She loved her crown she got tonight. she said she was the queen and called me her servant. Hilarious. Love Sadie. She loved getting all the attention today.

Sadie is 4!!! She had a Brave party yesterday and had a blast!!! She is so excited to turn 4 and we just love her! She adds so much to enrich our lives and we are so grateful that she is a part of our family!
