Weekend at the River

We celebrated Nathan's Grandma's 75th birthday with a family reunion at his Aunt & Uncle's place at the Colorado River. We had a great time and everyone spoiled the girls! It was real hot so the girls had a pool in the shade just for them that they practically lived in. I loved going out on the boat. Brenna was okay as long as we didn't go too fast. She needed a sucker as a bribe to keep her happy. . Nate took tons of picts of everyone so I will post those in a bit. But these are from my camera.

In the water

I wanted to try out my camera in the water so I went out with Nate and his bro Aaron snorkeling (they wanted to spear some fish). Luckily, they had all the gear for me so I wouldn't be cold. The water was pretty murky so we didn't stay out long. But still fun to go out.

A Night with Princesses

We went to a church youth fundraiser tonight. It was a Princess/Knight party~ complete with tiaras, face painting, pictures with princesses and a princess/knight show. The girls and their cousin Abby had a great time. They even got to go up on stage to become a princess and learn the Young Women values of a true princess. So cute I thought.

It has come to this....

So after breaking 2 cameras within the last year, Nathan found the perfect camera for me! I was so excited. This baby is waterproof to 33 feet, freezeproof, can withstand 220 p0unds of pressure, dust, dirt proof, and shockproof up to 6.6 pounds. So basically this camera can withstand the tossing of a 3 year old, milk spilling in a diaperbag, sand at the beach, crumbs from my purse and anything else we might come across. I am so excited to test it out.

A gorgeous beach day

It was a spur of the moment trip to the beach today. The girls had the best time and thought it was so funny to be burried in the sand.
